The History of Ballet East
Focus on providing platforms for the development of dancers and choreographers, repertoire expansion and a reinvestment in the infrastructure of under served communities through aggressive community programming, public and private partnerships and a continual reassessment of the vision and focus.
Ballet East Dance Company was founded in 1978 and incorporated in 1982. The Company is housed in a recreational/educational facility in the central east sector of the City of Austin.
